Describe the purpose of flying orders
To provide instructions or amendment at a wing or unit level pertaining to appropriate DIs and AFCIs

Unit or formation commander may issue when action is warranted
New releases updated on the EFB where orders remain in section 1 of the FOB for a period of three months before being moved to the relevant section or removed

Add crew are to be familiar with the contents of the FOB before flying with the unit
Update ultra and read new orders before each flight

To give authorisation to the aircraft captain to carry out a brief task in accordance with wing SIs and any requirements or restrictions

Ensure they are familiar with the details of the tasked flight
Be listed as crew

Authoritive documents for listing a members flying hours, flying qualification and role specialisation

Required to keep neat and tidy
Carrie other correct timing from OA82
Correct columns in ink
Complain monthly summary and pass to flight commander to attain signature
