Flight Deck Equipment Flow Trigger
Normally accomplished by FO and on the first flight of the day or following an aircraft change.
Flight Deck Preparation Flow Trigger
Accomplish Every Flight unless otherwise noted
Before Pushback Flow Trigger
After receiving the cabin ready notification and all doors are closed and armed.
After Start Flow Trigger
After ground equipment is clear and engine(s) are stablilized
FO’s Taxi Flow Trigger
After departing the gate and both engines running
Before Takeoff Flow Trigger
Prior to taking the runway
PM’s After Takeoff Flow Trigger
After flap retraction and prior to 10,000’ AFL
Climbing through 10,000’ Flow Trigger
Climbing through 10,000’ AFL
Transition Altitude Flow Trigger
Climbing or Descending through transition altitude
Descending through 10,000’ Flow Trigger
Just prior to descending through 10,000’ AFL
Landing Flow Trigger
After extending Flaps to 5 or FULL
After Landing Flow Trigger
After aircraft has cleared the active runway
Shutdown Flow Trigger
After the aircraft is parked a the gate with parking brake set.

1 - SYS 3 ELEC PUMP A - ON
2 - RED BCN - ON
3 - PAX SIGNS - ON
4 - DOORS - CLOSED AND GREEN
5 - STEERING DISENGAGE SWITCH - PRESS
6 - STEER OFF - DISPLAYED ON EICAS
CALL “BEFORE START CHECKLIST”
FO Before pushback flow
1 - windows - closed
2 - ADS probes heater - out
3 - doors - closed and green
4 - Transponder - TA/RA
