Explain watersheds
A
a land area that channels rainfall and snowmelt to creeks, streams, and rivers, and eventually to outflow points such as reservoirs, bays, and the ocean.
(drainage basin, catchment: area that contributes surface water to a stream). The landscape is divided by stream networks (system of interconnected stream channels found in a drainage basin).
