Engine Failure During Takeoff
(Below V1-Takeoff Aborted)
- Brakes. Apply
- Thrust. IDLE
- Thrust Revers. Deploy
- Rev Lights. Verify
- Revrse. Thrust. As Req.
- Speed Brakes. Extend
Engine Failure During Takeoff
(Above V1-Takeoff Continue)
- Nose Up Pitch @ (VR).
13-15 degrees - Landing Gear UP
(When Positive Rate) - Airspeed. V2
Engine Fire - Bell Sounds
LFT or RT Engine Fire Push
Illuminates!
- Thrust (affectd Eng).
IDLE
*If Engine Fire Push Still Illuminated * Then - Thrust Lvr Affected ENg
CUTOFF - Illuminated Fire SW
PUSH - Either Fire Bottle Switch
PUSH
Engine Fire Detector Failure
Left or Right Fire Det Fail Light illuminated
If the Fire Det Fail annunc. Illuminates following an engine fire push SW illumination, the fire should be considered to still be burning.
- Engine Fire Proced.
Complete Chck List - Remaining Fire Bottle SW
PUSH - Land
Nearest Suitable Airport
IF Engine FIRE Det Fail
Annunciation illuminates without an ENG FIRE Push SW illumination or Anyother indication of an engine fire:
Repair Fault prior to the next flight.
Engine Failure in Landing Configuration

As Required - Airspeed
VREF
Dual Engine Flameout
Immediate Relight
1. N2 Verify ABV 52%
Caution: Engine Damage may result if an immediate relight is attempted BELOW 52% N2
- Ignitions ON
IF N2 is Not ABV 52% or neither engine delights then: - Battery. EMER
Inadvertent Thrust REV
Deployment During T/O
(Below V1 - Takeoff Abort)
L TR ARM. R TR ARM UNLOCK. UNLOCK DEPLOY. DEPLOY OR
- Brakes. Apply
- Thrust. IDLE
- T/R’s. Both Deploy
- Rev Lights. Verify
- Rev. Thrust. As Required
- Speed Brakes. Extend
Inadvertent T/R Deployment
During Takeoff

- IF acft is in nose down attitude initiate a wings level pull-up without exceeding structural limits. (3.2G)
Loss of Airspeed Indication
- Autopilot. Disconnect
- Airspeed. Slow to Maintain 0.2 AOA.
- Thrust. As Req.
- Speed Brakes. As Req.
Slow to 0.25 AOA w Speed. Takes Extended.
Electrical Fire or Smoke
- Oxygen masks
Don - Smoke Goggles
Don - Mic Selectors
Oxy Mask - SPKR Switches (PIC & SIC)
ON or Don Headset - Interphone SW Pilot
ON - Smoke Removl Procedures
OF Needed - Faulted Circuits
Isolate - Battery
