Flight 1 Flashcards
Whats Happens when A stalls Occurs
A Stall occurs when the Critical Angle of attack is exceeded.
What affects Lift ?
- Air Density - velocity - Shape of air foil - Angle of attack - Wing surface area
What is the “Chord Line”
An imaginary line between the leading of the air foil of the triangle edge
What is the 5p Check list?
- Plan 2. Plane 3. Pilot 4. Passengers 5 Programming.
whats control the “Pitching” of the Plane” and what is its Axis?
The Elevator and that is the on the Lateral Axis “WIng to Wing”
What Controls the “Rolling” of the Plane? What is its Axis
The “AiLerons” controls the rolling of Plane and that is on the Longitude Axis. “Noise To tail”
What Controls the Yaw of a plane ? and what is its Axis
The “Rudder” Controls the Yaw movement and that is on the Vertical Axis
What is the “Ground Effect”?
Wing tip vortices hit the ground at low altitude and create a cushion in between the wing terrain. This may cause the air craft to “float” very close to the ground.
