A

Poly. catches Ody. and his crew, eating two crew members a day. Ody. gives Poly. poisonous wine then stakes him in the eye which blinds Poly.

Poseidon

A

After Odysseus’ incident with Polyphemus, Poseidon is angered with Ody. and curses him to sail ten years. In the process he would lose all his crew and get home with the help of others.

Aeolus helped them for a month by giving them west wind to sail by to get home and a bag that contained all the winds except the west that should have taken them home.

Gift from Aeolus to Ody. that contained all the winds except the west. Sailor opened bag while Ody. was asleep thinking it contained gold. The bag brought them back where they had came while just in site of Ithaca. Aeolus refused to help afterwards.

A

Laestrygonians attacked fleet of ships with boulders killing off hundreds of Odys. men, leaving only one ship standing.

A

Witch-goddess Circe turned all of Ody.’s men into pigs. Hermes warned Ody. and gave him moly, which gave him resistance to her magic.

A
