Abstract
Abstract refers to something that exists as an idea or concept, rather than something you can touch or see. Ex. love, freedom, and beauty are abstract because they are not physical objects
Ameliorated
Ameliorated means “improved” or “made better.” Ex. if a situation has been ameliorated, it means it has gotten better or less severe.
Chauvinistic
Chauvinistic means having an attitude of superiority or bias towards a particular group, often one’s own. It can refer to excessive patriotism or nationalism, or the belief that one gender is better than the other, like in the term “male chauvinism”.
Contemporary
Contemporary means “modern” or “happening now.” It can also refer to things or people that exist or live at the same time. For example, contemporary music is the music that is popular today
Iconoclastic
Iconoclastic means challenging or going against widely accepted beliefs or traditions. An iconoclastic person often questions or criticizes established norms and values
Immutable
Immutable means “unchangeable” or “unable to be changed.” For example, if something is immutable, it stays the same no matter what
Naive
Naive means “lacking experience or understanding”. A naive person tends to believe things easily because they haven’t learned yet to be skeptical or cautious
