What is Flap Back?
A
Cyclic pitch applied to tilt rotor disc down over nose to move forward.
As forward speed in increases, advancing & retreating blades experience a dissymmetry of lift.
Advancing blade flaps up, retreating down, flapping to equality occurs and nose tilts up.

How is flap back overcome?
A
Moving the cyclic pitch stick further forward to bring rotor disc back into the correct position.
