Domestic Bond
Bonds that are issued and traded in a country and are denominated in the currency of that country
Foreign bonds
Bonds that are issued by a foreign company but traded in the domestic market
Euro bonds
Issued internationally, outside the jurisdiction of any single country, and are denoted in the currency other than that of the countries in which they trade
Bearer bonds
Trustee does not maintain a record of who owns the bonds
recorded in the clearing system
Registered bonds
Record of who owns the bond are maintained using a name or serial number
Global bonds
Issued simultaneously in multiple markets

Income from coupon payments

Tax on income portion of a bond investment
