Salah

A

Salah means prayer five times a day - dawn, noon, mid afternoon,
sunset and late evening.
There is a calendar that tells Muslims what time to pray.
Before prayer, Muslims remove their shoes and perform a ritual
washing (wudu).

Hajj

A

Hajj is a pilgrimage to Mecca, the chief holy city of Islam as it
was here that Muhammad lived and worked. Every Muslim, who can afford it, is expected to visit Mecca at least once in their lifetime. The Hajj lasts for 4 days every year, with around I million
Muslims expected to attend. It includes a visit to the Ka’ba - the
place where Muslims believe Abraham showed his willingness to sacrifice his son.
It occurs during the twelfth month of the Muslim calendar
