- S – Hack the globe – social entrepreneurship hackathon
- T – Create a digital solution to help one of the UN SDG’s – new team, don’t know strengths etc, minimal front end dev experience
- A – Broke down brainstormed ideas for further research by areas of expertise, assigned tasks according to strengths and interests, found ways around front-end dev issues.
- R – even in high pressure environment with new people, were able to develop a full solution tackling a reduction in public charity donations

Option 2 – TBH 13 people on one single TAH design, lots of overlap, everything impacts everything else etc. – won the health hackathon

o S – TBH, selected to join with aim of creating TAH, further selected to lead investment management.
o T – Obtain investment, new team, no contacts
o A – Created strategic plan, shortlist, built connections and offered unique value propositions offering access to top engineering talent and the potential to be part of industry breakthroughs.
o R – Successfully led the identification, networking, pitching, and negotiation of investment deals with 3 different organisations, securing an initial £4000 funding for the development of a fully artificial human heart.

o S – Nerves got better of me in design review
o T – Improve presentation skills in front of big audience
o A – speak to line manager for experienced advice - Presentation in monthly tech updates in front of large crowd
o R – less nervous and something I quite enjoy now - applied for a charity ambassador role that involved public speaking for next year

Option 2 – Struggling to delegate in hack the globe – high pressured.

Option 3 - TBH lack of interest from investors – indirect feedback.
- Tell me about a conflict.
- S – Team bath heart technical brainstorm
- T – Some members of the group were being less open minded and giving reasons why things wouldn’t work
- A – Initially brief mention of importance and then explain - after brainstorm took time to chat things over and make sure they understood reasons and still felt like valid team members for following on brainstorms
- R – brainstorms became more creative and open minded leading to a huge variety of ideas and all group members feeling welcome to share thoughts eventually design won heart hackathon.
