Constantly moving to search for widely dispersed prey. They have a fusiform, streamline body, terminal mouth and forked tailed. Their fins are evenly distributed

Acceleration specialists, they have a large gape, flexible torpedo-body, large peduncle for power, small pectoral and pelvic fins.
What are the main characteristics of suction feeders?
Manoeuvring specialists. Large fins compared to body size. Small mouth, laterally compressed body. Spines for defence.
Discussd the discovery of the Tiktaalik
Canadian arctic, 2004. Had a mobile neck, and its ear is structure to hear both in and out of water. It had a wrist which allowed tiktaalik to make its palm lie flat. It had large pectoral muscles, and eyes on the top of its head. It could travel awkwardly on land.
