Rent is set by rent officer - if tenant or landlord not happy they can appeal to FTT

Rent can be increased 7.5% plus inflation and 5% after that
FTT
Once they receive application they give parties 7 days to make written representation or request hearing
If no hearing is requested they will consider based on evidence and representation
Appeal against decision must be within 28 days
