Prohibited White settlement west of the Appalachian MTS.

This was to reduce colonial conflict with Indian tribes west of APP. Mts. It also kept colonials settled near the water under the watchful eyes of the army.

The colonials seeking to move west after 7 years war, were disappointed as they were eager for free land.

Response to repealing the stamp act and affirmed power of British in America

to let colonist know that even though the British had repealed the stamp act, more was still to come and they would still be in control.

This went unrecognized by the colonist due to their celebration about tax reform

This was done to gain lost debt from the seven years war.

Colonials boycotted British goods, smuggling and set up petitions.

This was meant to punish the colonies for the Boston tea party.

This was the startup to the revolutionary war.

A

The first version of the constitution of the United States.

Creates state focused power, freedoms are grater and now people have a voice.

Despite these pros, it was disjointed, lack of global diplomacy, weak federal presence, no executive office, no taxing and lots of debt.

To become state first must be ruled by government, have male population of 5,000 and total population of 60,000
