It shrinks when wet
Is hemp okay to use as tie down material?
It’s ok, but it rots eventually.
Is nylon good to use for tie down material?
Yes. But it becomes brittle.
What is the best material to use for tying down aircraft?
Polypropylene, it is strong and remains flexible.
