FDR’s foreign policy for the post-war world
- the best way to prevent war in the future was to have a world based on free trade and equal access to raw materials
- create increased economic prosperity
- increased interdependence between countries
- less likely to go to war as they are reliant on other countries for certain goods and resources
- Stalin felt the US would be a dominant economic power
