Anaphylaxis
Severe, often life-threatening allergic reaction
Signs of anaphylaxis
Itchy, rash (red hives) difficulty breathing, swelling of facial features
Treatment for anaphylaxis
Epipen

When water or other liquids enter airway

Breathing disorder in high airways sensitivity increased
Hyperventilation
Occurs when breathing is faster and deeper than necessary
Heat exhaustion
When a person is exposed to high temperatures for a long time
Heat stroke
Rare but serious condition when body’s cooling mechanism stops working.
Frostbite
When freezing occurs on external tissue

White area on skin
Treatment for frostbite
Reheat affected area with ideally 37-49 degrees for 20-30 min
Hypothermia
Dropping of the body’s core temperature
