911, first aid kit and AED, prepare CPR

Irritable or confused, hungry/thirsty, sleepy, sweaty
FAST (stroke)
F—face drooping
A—Arm weakness
S—speech difficulty
T—time for 911
Actions for stroke
Phone 911,note the time the symptoms started, stay with them,provide CPR if needed
Actions for seizures
More furniture, place a small towel under their head, 911
Actions to control bleeding
Scene is safe, send someone to get the first aid kit,PPE,apply pressure with dressings,once bleeding has stopped keep pressure on it and wrap
Help a person in shock
Scene is safe, 911, lie on their back, cover with blanket, CPR if needed

Actions to take with animal/human bite
Scene is safe, first aid kit, PPE, wash with water, bag of ice with water to help with swelling and bruising, (through skin=healthcare provider)
Scrape with something hard and dull to get stinger and venom sac out ?
Bite or stink
Don’t pinch pull straight out

Actions for heat stroke
911, put person in cool water up to neck or spray with water, not breathing normally=CPR
Signs of heat stroke
Confusion, feeling fiant/fainting,nausea, muscle cramps,seizure
