It is the cautious assistance’ given to a person experiencing an abrupt illness and injury to prevent the conditions of the patient/victim from worsening while waiting for medical help.
First aid
- the lost of blood from circulatory system. It may happen externally and internally. And may cause death if not given an immediate care
Bleeding
- due to high degree of oxygenation.
Arterial Bleeding
- blood coming from a wound of the affected vein.
Venous Bleeding
- drops or small quantity of blood from a damaged skin.
Capillary Bleeding

- a continuous blood flow from one or both nose that last a few seconds to 10 mins
Nose Bleeding
- occurs when there is disruption of blood circulation of blood circulation in the body that greatly affects its function.
Shock
COMMON NOSEBLEED FIRST AID DO’S
SIT IN A CHAIR & LEAN THE HEAD FORWARD - This will prevent any blood from going down the back of the throat
PINCH THE SOFT PART OF THE NOSE
- Direct pressure to control the bleeding for 5-10 minutes
ICE PACK ON TOP NOSE AND CHEEK
- Helps control bleeding, swelling, and pain if there has been any trauma to the nose
- a condition where the victim has difficulty in breathing or totally stop breathing
Respiratory Arrest
- a tightening of the muscle in the airway due to certain substance or conditions that makes difficulty in breathing.
Asthma Attack
- occurs when the airways of a person blocked by a food or other object that may result to difficulty in breathing.
Choking
- partly blocked
Mild Choking
- fully block with abnormal breathing and may become unconscious
Severe Choking
- happen a body doesn’t receive enough oxygen to meet its requirement. This makes a person breathing faster or shallow than normal. It may imitate an asthma attack or a heart condition.
Hyperventilation
- occurs when the heart muscle malfunction due to the blockage of blood flow that carry oxygen to the heart.

- any damage inside and outside the layer of the skin.
