Casualty is unconscious, no sign of life, over 1 year old
What are the casualty criteria when using AED?
Not breathing normally, severe chest pain or any signs and symptoms of heart attack, unconsciousness
What should you do when the AED prompts ‘Analyzing heart rhythm, stay clear of patient’?
Stop CPR
Before applying AED shock, what should you check?
Ensure no one touches the patient, and shout out ‘You’re clear, I’m clear, Everybody’s clear’
