Prohibits the quartering of soldiers in civilian homes during peace time

Prohibits unreasonable search and seizure of a persons property without a valid warrant, Requires a grand jury for serious criminal charges; prohibits double jeopardy; prohibits forcing accused persons to testify against themselves; guarantees that no one may be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; prohibits government taking private property for public use without just compensation

Guarantees suspect the right to a speedy trial by jury in criminal cases, to know all charges, to question and obtain a witness, and to have a counsel
7th Amendment
Guarantees a jury trial in most civilian cases
8th Amendment
Prohibits excessive bail and cruel and unusual punishment
9th Amendment
Assures people that they may have other basic rights in addition to those mentioned in the Constitution
10th Amendment
Guarantees that rights not given to the federal government, nor denied to the states, are reserved to the states or to the people

Freedom of speech, press, and religion
