What are the 3 roles when a fire is discovered ?

A

Firefighter - person who discovers the fire
Communicator - Notify coordinator (usually the FSM) and flight crew immediately
Coordinator- Remove and control passengers. Obtain back your equipment for the firefighter

What must you do with a toilet fire ?

A

Assess the severity by touching the door with the back of your hand. Crouch down low so you can use the door as a Shield. Slowly open the door just enough to put the end of the FX in. Fully discharge the FX . Close door and wait 30 seconds. Repeat if necessary.
