SA - What are some examples of a rural fire that would require investigation?
- Suspicious fires
- Multiple fires starting in an area with no apparent reason
- Where rural fire authority intends to claim under rural fire fighting fund

MC - At a minimum, what would a rural investigation team consist of?
Qualified rural fire investigator and a police investigator.

You can arrest without warrant under S88(2) and the penalty includes a term of imprisonment.

There is no power of arrest, the penalty is fine only and they can be summonsed.
SA - What is the role of an FSILO?
- Arranging SFI attendance at fire scenes requested by police
