Position 7 (ACO) procedure
1 Obtain portable oxygen bottle from lavatory
2 Inspect lavatory, galley area, and Battlestaff compartment is empty.
3 Report to ACO and assist in fire fighting efforts
Position 9 (2FT) procedure
1 Take oxygen mask from station regulator.
2 Obtain portable oxygen bottle from forward lower lobe compartment hatch.
3 Monitor personnel in lower compartment.
a. Notify ACO when personnel enter/exit the lower compartment.
4 Report to ACO and return to assigned station.
Position 17 (ACOM) procedure
1 Take oxygen mask from station regulator and Don gloves
2 Return to assigned station, report to ACO, and prepare to transmit emergency message.
Station 18 (ACOM) procedure
1 Take oxygen mask from station regulator
2 Obtain portable oxygen bottle from the port side forward Comm Central bulkhead.
3 Inspect forward Comm Central area, including Battlestaff positions if vacant.
4 Report to ACO and return to assigned station.
Station 19 (ACO) procedure
1 Perform checklist; draft emergency message and pass to ACOM.
- Organize refill and replacement of portable oxygen bottles if necessary.
- Direct fire fighting effort when source is located.
- Keep pilot informed.
Station 20 (ACOM) procedure
- Take oxygen mask from station regulator
- Obtain portable oxygen bottle and fire extinguisher from the port side aft Comm Central bulkhead.
- Inspect aft Comm Central.
a) Beginning at the starboard R/T bays, inspect in a clockwise fashion, the entire aft compartment. - Report to ACO and return to assigned station when directed.
Station 21 (IFT) procedure
- Take oxygen mask from station regulator.
- Obtain portable oxygen bottle from the portside aft Comm Central bulkhead.
- Proceed to forward lower compartment hatch and obtain fire extinguisher next to forward lower compartment hatch.
- When the monitor arrives, inspect the forward lower compartment.
a. Check for tripped circuit breakers, arcing, smoke, and/or fire.
b. If smoke/fire source is not found, utilize compartment MSU to notify ACO.
Station 22 ( 2nd IFT/RO) procedure
- Take oxygen mask from station regulator.
- Obtain portable oxygen bottle and fire extinguisher from aft end of starboard storage cabinet.
- Wake sleepers and proceed to aft lower compartment access hatch
- Monitor personnel in lower compartment.
a. Notify ACO when personnel enter/exit the lower compartment. - Report to ACO and return to assigned station when directed.
