Penalty for frivolous reports of abuse
1st report- $2000
2nd - $2000 and 6 mos
3rd - $2000 and 2.5 years
Penalty for using title psychologist if you don’t qualify

Court can be petitioned for protective services and will hold a hearing within 14 days
Court will notify the elderly or disabled person at least 5 days before the hearing or 24 hours in an emergency
Timeline if a complaint is filed against a psychologist
They will receive written notice of the complaint within 15 days
Timeline before you can reapply for reinstatement of license after its revoked
3 years
Timeline for how long CHINS can remain in place and extension and discontinuing
No more than 6 months; can extend for 6 month periods; no order can continue after 18th birthday or 16 for truancy bc kids don’t have to attend school past 16
