Gross motor skills
Using large muscles of the body which is used for mobility such as rolling over. Other examples are running and jumping
Fine motor skills
Are actions that require the use of smaller muscles in the hands, fingers and toes.
Allow infants to pick up things using their finger and thumb examples of fine motor skills is drawing, scribbling and stacking toys
