When given a percentage and it’s value, how do we find the whole amount?
20% is $2
100% = ?
We divide the percentage value to find what 1% is and then we multiply by 100 to find the whole amount
1% is $2/20 =$0.1
100% is $0.1 * 100 = $10

1% is $4/20 =$0.2
100% is $0.2 * 100 = $20
