2. use elementary row operations to bring to reduced row echelon form.
3. The identity matrix should be inverted version of matrix now

how can you tell an inverse does not exist when using guassin elimination method

there is a row that becomes all 0s. We cannot convert to reduced row echelon form. Inverse does not exists
