At the end, George ends up being the one who kills Lennie. He killed him because Curley was trying to get to Lennie to shoot him dead, George wanted to be the one to do it so that Lennie could die with peace

Of Mice and Men is about the American Dream, the two main characters are migrant workers who are looking for jobs, ranch to ranch, in search for wealth to gain enough financial stability to be able to afford a home, their own ranch, with rabbits

During the Civil Rights movement, MLK and Malcom took different approaches, while MLK was peaceful, Malcom believed violence will get what they want faster
