  • If you have a strong GPA or other academic achievements, consider including details
  • High School details are less important (optional)
  • Practicum or academic projects details could be included in this section or alternatively in your work section

  • Use different categories to place related work experience higher on your resume (i.e. your work in a related childhood education role should take priority over a more recent job in a restaurant etc.)

  • Look for ways to reinforce leadership attributes
  • Use strong action verbs
  • Unless you are still in the job, you should use past tense verbs
