What year was the council of Chalcedon and what heretic belief did it debunk ?
The Council of Chalcedon was in 451. And it debunked Eutychianism (Monophysitism) - the belief that Jesus humanity was essentially dissolved or obliterated by his divine nature. That Christ was only one divine person.
