• This conveys images of perfection, which was the way the church viewed itself prior to the shift in understanding in Vatican II.

• This was the new understanding the church created following Vatican II.
• This is the convergence of God’s will and finite beings acting servitude to one another.
• This was seen at various points throughout the semester, especially in instances where the oppressed were helped or shown their intrinsic value.

• The preferential option for the poor is the human attempt to imitate how God interacts with humanity as revealed in Scripture.
• The measuring stick analogy views a society in the essence of how its lowest members are treated.
• This essentially places a special emphasis on the poor, vulnerable, and marginalized populations, which asks those you can give within their limitations to aid this demographic needs.
