Canadian World figure skating champion in 1948, she won a yellow convertible and Brundage found about that and called her a pro and the end result was she gave the convertible back temporarily won the 1948 games, came back and took convertible

Emil Zatopek
Czechoslovak long distance runner. Won 5k, 10k and marathon in 1952. Best known for winning three gold medals at the 1952 Helsinki games.

From France, now member of IOC. Alpine skiing star of 68 Olympics. He won three alpine events at the 1968 Winter Games.

Speed skater won all 5 of men’s events at 1980 Lake Placid Games and is a doctor now
Teofilo Stevenson
Cuban boxer and engineer. Won three Olympic gold medals in boxing. Hero in Cuba. (1972, 1976, 1980)
Nadia Comaneci
Young Romanian Gymnast who won four gold medals at the Montreal Games but was the 1st to ever score a 10. She won two gold medals the the 1980 Moscow Games.
Bruce Jenner
Won the decathlon at the Montreal Games and was called the greatest athlete of the world, the modern Jim Thorpe.
Olga Korbut
Soviet gymnast lady, Munich games, uneven bars, first person to let go and loose contact with the bars, much like how it is today. Moved to Florida, and later went into boxing.
Rick DeMont
Early innocent victims of IOC drug testing programs, he was a young swimming sensation who would 1500m gold medal in 1972 and he was tested to have antibody he took his whole life for asthma and he had his medal taken away from him
