Q

What were the two alternative endings to Daughter of the Samurai?

A

German ending had the couple meeting at the top of the volcano. The Japanese ending had them meeting in a valley (a lot more peaceful). Both endings show the couple living in Machuria, however the Japanese ending focused more heavily on the couple having a baby while the German ending focused more greatly on the soldiers protecting.
