What is the Plot of the Barber of Seville?

A

Lindoro has fallen in love with Rosina and she is under the guardianship of Dr. Bartolo. Lindoro meets Figaro who is the barber of Seville and is a factotum and he tells Lindoro of Dr. Bartolo’s plans to marry Rosina for her money. Rosina then shows up on her balcony with a letter she wrote to Lindoro who has been serenading her. Dr. Bartolo appears and realizes what is going on and then he leaves and tells the lady to not let anyone in the house and hurries off to organize the wedding. Figaro and Lidnoro then start thinking of a plan to get inside dressed as a soldier seeking a place to stay. Lindoro then shows up dressed as a soldier and realizes he cant stay there but slips Rosina a note and then Bartolo notices and so then the Police get involved but Lindoro avoids arrest by revealing his true identity. Then lindoro enters the house again dressed as the music teacher and talks to Rosina but then Bartolo notices and wants to marry Rosina right away. Then Rosina and Lindoro marry and live happily every after.
