Rules of writing a good outline
- All outlines should be either topic or sentence
- Do not mix the two types
- Words “introduction” “body” or “conclusion” can not be used
- No punctuation
- Grammatically parallel
- Topic has title which is capitalized
- All main topics have sub topics which are indented
- Roman numerals, capital letters, numbers, small letters are the order
- No lone subtopics, if there is an “A” there must be a “B”
