Race riots are happening in Detroit, Detroit auto workers who hadn’t made a car in two years were angry. Mostly blacks were working for the military instead of the auto works, TAKING the opportunity to work. Detroit had grown 500,000 thousand people and a great amount more of blacks. The KKK had been taking an extreme toll like never before, shutting out the black best they could.
