Ableism
Operates on individual, institutional and cultural labels, benefiting those who are temporarily able-bodied while disadvantaging people with disabilities
Ableism Institutional
Ingrained policies, practices, and norms within institutions that create and perpetuate, often affecting marginalized groups. It can manifest in areas such as employment, education, healthcare, and social services, making it difficult for those affected to achieve equitable treatment and opportunities.
Ableism Physical
Discrimination based on an individuals physical disability. (Lack of accomodations, limited access to healthcare, stereotyping, harassment and bully)
Ableism Mental
Based on an individuals cognitive disability (stigmatizing language, employment discrimination, well I have accommodations, negative media portrayals)
Ageism
Discrimination that involves prejudiced stereotyping or mistreating people based on their age.
Xenophobia
The prejudice against people from other countries. * The unjustifiable fear or hatred of strangers or foreigners or of anything that is strange or foreign.
Racism Covert
Subtle forms of prejudiced off a normalized in societal attitudes
Racism Overt
Explicit, intentional Acts of discrimination or hostility
Sexism
Prejudice or discrimination against a person or group based on their sex or gender
Classism
Treating people unequally based on the social class to which they belong
Classism Individual
Thoughts or behaviors that result in differential treatment based on social class or prejudice
Classism Institutional
Appearing in institutions or laws and practices that systematically disadvantage lower income communities
Classism Internalized
Individuals internalize societal messages about their class shaping, self-concept and relationships
Classism Cultural
Societal promotion of a negative beliefs and practices that portray lower income individuals as deficient or responsible for the situation
Cisgender
Term used to describe individuals whose gender identity aligns with the sex they are assigned at birth
Intersex
Refers to individuals born with physical sex characteristics such as chromosomes, hormones or anatomy that do not fit typical definitions of male or female.
Gender
Suicidal construct encompassing the roles, behaviors, expressions and identities the society considers appropriate for men, women, or other gender identities

Refers to the biological characteristic such as chromosomes, hormones, reproductive organs and secondary sex characteristics typically categorized as male or female
