Define 3 Edit Tools

A

Grabber Tool (Hand): used to move audio (as well as MIDI, and Video) clips in the timeline of Pro Tools. It allows you to move clips in time on the same track, or to different tracks within the session.

Selector Tool (waveform): used to place the edit cursor in a track or timebase ruler or to make selections on the timeline

Trim Tool: Allows you to edit media clips by clicking and dragging from the ends of the clip (beginning or end)

Smart Tool: combines all three tools (trim, selector, grabber) and changes based on cursor position
