1
Q

What can filters do?

Q

How to perform filtration and crystallisation in the lab?

A
  1. The solution is put through the filter paper- only the solvent and solute(s) pass through-this liquid is called the filtrate
  2. Bunsen burner used to evaporate the filtrate to form crystals
