Vulva stage I
Tumour confined to the vulva
Vulva stage IA
Lesion less than or equal to 2cm in size
confined to the vulva or perineum
with stromal invasion less than or up to 1mm
negative nodes
Vulva stage IB
Lesion over 2cm in size
confined to the vulva or perineum
with stromal invasion less than or up to 1mm
negative nodes
Vulva stage II
Tumour any size
but extension to adjacent perineal structures
(1/3 lower vagina, 1/3 lower urethra, anus)
negative nodes
Vulva stage III
Tumour any size
+/- extension to adjacent perineal structures
(1/3 lower vagina, 1/3 lower urethra, anus)
Positive nodes inguino-femoral lymph nodes
Vulva stage IIIA
- with one LNM equal to or more than 5mm
2. one to two LNM less than 5mm
Vulva stage IIIB
- 2+ LNM equal or greater than 5mm
2. 3+LNM less than 5mm
Vulva stage IIIC
Positive nodes with extracapsular spread
Vulva stage IV
Tumour invades other regional (2/3 upper urethra, 2/3 upper vagina) or distant structures
Vulva stage IVA
Tumour invades any of:
- upper urethra or vaginal mucosa, bladder mucosa, rectal mucosa or fixation to pelvic bone
- Fixed or ulceration inguinofemoral LN
Vulva stage IVB
Any distant mets including pelvic LN
