what is systematic sampling?
data taken at regular intervals
what is random sampling?
a random selection of data
what are qualitative techniques?
- a JUDGEMENT from the person collecting the data.
- more opinion based.
what are quantitive techniques?
- produces numerical values
- usually consists of factual information that can be counted and used in fieldwork
what is secondary data?
collected by SOMEONE ELSE
what is primary data?
information that you collect yourself, eg tallies, measurements and photographs
