inciting incident, rising action, climax, denouement, expostion
story structure
exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, resolution, dénouement, and themes.
plot
a plan made in secret by a group of people to do something illegal or harmful.
conflict
a serious disagreement or argument, typically a protracted one.
setting
the place or type of surroundings where something is positioned or where an event takes place.
pov
point of view
characters
the mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual.
theme
the subject of a talk, a piece of writing, a person’s thoughts, or an exhibition; a topic.
style
a manner of doing something.
exposition
a comprehensive description and explanation of an idea or theory
rising action
the second of six essential plot elements, which comes right after the opening of a story, otherwise known as the exposition.
climax
the most intense, exciting, or important point of something; a culmination or apex.
falling action
everything that takes place immediately after the climax
resolution
a firm decision to do or not to do something.
narrative structure
a beginning – the introduction. a middle – the arguments, discussions and explanations. an end – conclusion or recommendations.
