She writes about how menacing the yellow wall paper is. Her husband threatens to send her away. She eventually sees a woman creeping behind the wallpaper. One night she tears at the paper to free the trapped woman. She becomes insane and he husband passes out when he sees her

Martha leaves her farm house with a group of neighbors and her husband and the sheriff. They all go to another neighbors farmhouse (Wright’s) in their kitchen. The sheriff asks Martha’s husband what he witnessed. He says he asked mr Wright a question and he refused an offer. He went to his house other time and Martha’s husband noticed that Mrs weight looked uncomfortable. Mrs Wright said that her husband was home but he was dead. She said he died of a rope around his kneck. Minnie is going to jail for the crime. Martha goes to grab clothes for Minnie and find a red box with a dead bird.
