Q

Fibrinolytic drugs - adverse effects

A

Bleeding, but less with t-PAs.
Arrhythmias (tachy and brady) –> from free radicals after reperfusion of coronary arteries after thrombolysis.
Streptokinase - hypersensitivity (anaphylactic shock), should not be used repeatedly in same pt.
