Fever persisting >2 weeks with no clear diagnosis despite intelligent and intensive investigation.

- Pyogenic abscess
- TB
- Infective endocarditis
- Toxoplasmosis
- EBV infection

- Brucellosis
- Lyme disease

A
Lymphoma, leukaemia, renal cell carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma.

- Adult Still’s disease
- RA
- SLE
- Wegener’s granulomatosis
- Giant cell arteritis
- Polymyalgia rheumatica
