Insufficiency: over 50 y/o and then increased again over 70 y/o
Fatigue: younger/active
Male/Females
Females more common
Family History
Insufficiency: positive for osteoporosis
Fatigue- negative
Predisposing Health Risks
Insufficiency: Osteoporosis
Fatigue:
-repetitive overuse activities: military, dancers, athletes, runners
- major trauma (or minor if high risk for deceased bone density)
- female athlete triad
Onset
Onset: typically sudden (either) or suddenly worsens
Symptom Location
Groin
Greater Trochanter
Deep Buttock
May refer to:
-anterior/medial thigh/knee

Weight-bearing- standing or walking
Alleviating Factors
Non-weight-bearing
Review of Systems
None
Position of Comfort/Pain
LE position of comfort-ABD and external rotation
Position of Pain: internal rotation may be painful
Palpation/Observation
Too deep to provoke pain by palpation
