General feminist view of the family is
Feminists are critical of the family as social institutions.They believe that the family is a tool of female oppression and in particular the nuclear family serves the needs of men not women.This is through issues such as unequal division of domestic labour and domestic violence

Radical feminists believe that the men are the enemy and marriage snd family are key institutions which allow patriarchy to exist
They argue that the family needs to be abolished for patriarchy to be destroyed
Marxist feminism
Marxist feminists see the family as a tool of capitalism and that capitalism not men who oppress women
Intersectional feminism
States that other feminists beliefs focus on the experience of women in nuclear family how ever not all families are nuclear
