Indications:
Menopausal symptoms, dysmennorrhoea, pms, ovarian dysfuction, ovarian insufficiency, ammerorrhoea, ovarian pain, female infertility, arthritis, rheumatism, neuralgia, myalgia, ciatica, tinnitus, whooping cough

Contraindications:
Pregnancy (except assisting birth last month), lactation, oestrogen-dependent tumours - breast
Overdose-nausea&vomiting&vertigo
Possible interaction w Tamoxifen

Indications:
pms, mastalgia, fluid retention

secondary amenorrhoea, insuficient lactation
Metrorrhagia (functional causes), menorrhoea, polymenorrhoea, oligomenorrhoea
Raised prolactin secretion (fibrocystic breasts)
Withdrawl from HRT, fibroids, endo, follicular ovarian cysts
Infertility from decreased progesterone levels, acne

Contraindications:
None required
Best not taken w progesterone drugs, OCP or HRT
May aggrevate spasmodic dysmenorrhoea not associated w pms
Caution in pregnancy, only in early stages for insufficient corpus luteal function

Contraindications:
TCM- diarrhoea caused by weak digevtion, haemorrhagic disease, bleeding tendency, heavy periods, first trimester, tendency to spontaneous abortion, acute viral infections, common cold, influenza
