- The bus driver yelled for the people to go and eat
- The white people on the bus went inside the restaurant; however, Felipe and the black people had to go and get their food from an area designated for black people
- Felipe waited in line and noticed food he wanted to eat: in particular, he saw a sandwich that smelled very good
- The bus driver yelled for the people to get back onto the bus. Felipe, however, did not have enough time to get back onto the bus and remained hungry
